Arrived here at Pine Ridge in Ruidoso at 11:30AM MST  - 5 hours from Ft. Stockton.  It was sunny for us to get set up, but the clouds were building.  While Larry was hooking us up & I was out visiting,  someone called out "Bear!!".  It was just across the road from the front of our RV & we didn't see it.  Someone else took this photo.

Larry put the canopy for the car together.  It started raining with some small hail just as he finished.  The car didn't make it under shelter in time.  Upon arrival we learned  friend Rene' was in the hospital and very ill.  She had been transferred to ICU.  They had just arrived here on Saturday. We are all praying for her recovery as she has a serious lung infection and is on a respirator.
