We have been here in Ruidoso for 2 weeks now enjoying the cooler temps, visiting with those met here before and making new friends.  I tripped & sprained my ankle before we had been here a week  so I haven’t been out much. It is getting better. 

The casinos have a free $10  five nights a weeks so we are taking advantage of that. We play the $10 through the machine & cash out.  We get to keep  any amount on the machine.  Our goal is $20 per day and we have exceeded that a bit, so we are happy.  Jean & Malcolm have plenty of loosing horse race tickets which are exchanged for the “free” $10.  We will be going to 3 shows at Spencer Theater next month.

The hummingbirds are hitting the feeders hot & heavy. The are emptying both large feeders in less than a day.
